Our Journey from Struggle to Service

Mohibi family comes from remote villages in northern Afghanistan. We grew up with war, poverty, and no basic services—walking for water, crossing rivers to reach school, and living without reliable healthcare or electricity. We’ve seen what happens when a community is left behind: mothers giving birth without doctors, kids pulled out of school, and families stuck with no way forward. Today, we’re based in Washington, D.C., with the access and resources we didn’t have back then. Mohibi Foundation is how we turn that access into real help—clean water, education, healthcare, and infrastructure—starting in the same villages that shaped us.
